The fight between Sean Strickland and Jared Cannonier, which would be the main event of the UFC on October 15, was canceled this week. Strickland himself announced his withdrawal from the event due to an infection in his index finger, which he explained he suffered from a punch he caught in the tooth of a training partner during a sparring session.
