A week after the Belgian GP, Formula 1 travels to the neighboring country, the Netherlands, in Zandvoort, for the 15th round of the World Championship, certainly with a large audience to honor the home driver, Max Verstappen next Sunday (4) .

Max comes stoked by the victory at Spa-Francorchamps, a result that made him widen the gap even further to the second place, now the Mexican Sergio Pérez, his teammate at Red Bull. They are separated by 93 points (284 to 191). Charles Leclerc (Ferrari), now in third place, has 186 points.

The Dutch GP lived a hiatus that lasted between 1985 and 2021, the year in which it was again incorporated into the Formula 1 calendar.

The Zandvoort track, one of the shortest on the calendar, at 4,259 meters, was the only one to host the Dutch GP, with the greatest winner being Scotsman Jim Clark (1936 – 1968), who won four times: 1963, 1964 , 1965 and 1967, all with Lotus.

Only one Brazilian won the Dutch GP, Nelson Piquet, in 1980, with Brabham-Ford.
