Portuguese tennis player Henrique Rocha qualified today for the quarter-finals of the Prague challenger, after eliminating Swiss Leandro Riedl, in two sets. In the second round, Rocha, 206th in the world rankings, beat Riedl, 148 .º, by double 6-4, in one hour and 19 minutes, qualifying for the third time for the quarter-finals of a ‘challenger’.

The young Portuguese, 20 years old and who has already won the Murcia challenger in Spain this season, will face in the quarters the North American Tony Kodat (370th) or the Frenchman Clement Chidekh (290th) .

Previously, Jaime Faria, 233rd in the hierarchy, had lost to German Rudolf Molleker, 166th, by 7-6 (7-4) and 6-1, in one hour and 22 minutes.
