Internacional’s opponent in the Copa Sudamericana, Belgrano-ARG has had a huge headache in the last few hours. This is because Peruvian striker Bryan Reyna, 25, faces legal charges for allegedly stealing a motorcycle in Mallorca, Spain, in 2020.

According to the newspaper Last hourfrom Spain, the Public Ministry requested 17 months in prison for the attacker.

On December 8, 2020, Reyna allegedly stole a motorcycle alongside Samuel Alex Pinto, a co-worker.

“Although Samuel Alex Pinto did not have a driver’s license, they took possession of the motorcycle with the keys in the ignition and fled the place. The owner filed a complaint for theft and on December 20th the athletes were detained by the police traveling on the aforementioned motorcycle through the avenues of Palma (capital of the island of Mallorca)”, published the Last hour.

The players paid bail and are free.

In 2020, Reyna left Spain and returned to Peruvian football. He got it right with Belgrano this season. In eight games, he scored two goals.

Inter and Belgrano play this Tuesday (2/4), at 7pm, in Argentina, in the group stage of the Copa Sudamericana.

Another police case

When he left Spain and returned to Peru, Reyna settled with Cantolao and was the protagonist of another controversy.

On that occasion, the attacker was arrested for illegal possession of weapons and possession of drugs. He was detained for five days until he paid bail.
