With a scheduled opening date, the second edition of the Mossoroense Sports Circuit, the CEM, had registrations begin in December, ending the period on February 1st. Teams from rural and urban areas made a point of ensuring their presence.
Sports such as basketball, volleyball, futsal, handball and field football will see the competition table and further details of the regulations, displayed on the website cem.mossoro.rn.gov.br, on February 8th at the technical conference that will be held at the Pedro Ciarlini Municipal Gymnasium at 6:30 pm.
This year, CEM will also feature a wide range of participating neighborhoods and communities. From rural areas, for traditional football, teams from Alagoinha, Riacho Grande, Hipólito, Jucuri, Barreira Vermelha and Sussuarana were registered. The highlight also goes to futsal with more than 43 teams registered in the men’s category alone.
“For us, it is an immense satisfaction to see more than one hundred teams willing to participate in our Circuit, which is now a municipal law of direct benefit to amateur sport. We increased the number of subscribers. Our sport will be very well represented from end to end, from rural to urban areas, from neighborhood to neighborhood and from the court to the field. It will be a great edition and we invite everyone to the opening on February 24th”, highlights the department’s secretary, Larissa Maciel.
This year, the Mossoroense Sports Circuit will hold a festive opening on February 24th, at 3:30 pm, at the Ginásio Municipal Pedro Ciarlini. The ceremony will feature the teams’ parade, the presentation of the table to the Mossoro public and also a party game with names invited by the Department of Sport and Youth. Entry will be free.
