Bernardo Santos and Anna Veloso go to the final of the mixed technical duet

Another final for Brazilian artistic swimming at the Aquatic Sports World Cup, in Doha, Qatar. Bernardo Santos and Anna Giulia Veloso came in ninth place in the preliminary of the mixed technical duet, with 196.6817, and guaranteed a place in the final of the race. The medal dispute will take place this Sunday (04), at 2 pm (Brasília time).

Bernardo and Anna made a consistent presentation, with 26.100 difficulty, 84.7500 artistic impression and 111.9317 execution. The accumulated score of 196.6817 placed the Brazilians in ninth place among the 13 duets in the preliminary competition. Thus, they secured one of the 12 places in the final. China, with Wentao Cheng/Haoyu Shi, was the leader, with 250.5150.

For the final, the preliminary results will be reset. The 12 duets will perform again this Sunday and the scores they obtain will define their final placement. The Brazilians will be the fourth pair to take action. In addition to Brazil and China, the decision will feature pairs from Italy, Spain, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Sweden, Serbia, Thailand and Bulgaria.
