Pablo was loaned by Flamengo until the end of 2024

Botafogo confirmed this Friday night (02) the signing of the defender PabloformerFlamengo. Therefore, the 32-year-old defender, who was not part of coach Tite’s plans, will be loaned to General Severiano’s team until December this year.

“Speak up, family. I arrived to defend the glorious shirt”said the defender Pablo in the official announcement by Botafogo. Therefore, the defender will remain in General Severiano’s team until December this year, after failing to win the starting spot in the Flamengo. This way, the team will pay 32% of the player’s salary during this period.

“The Regatta Club of Flamengo informs that he has completed the defender’s loan Pablo to Botafogo until the end of 2024”published the Flamengo on the social networks. Soon after, General Severiano’s team confirmed the agreement, in which they reported:

NO OPPORTUNITIES

Pablo hasn’t gotten a sequel since arriving at Flamengo. However, coach Tite arrived in October 2023 and kept Léo Pereira and Fabrício Bruno among the starters. Therefore, at the beginning of 2024, the 32-year-old athlete was authorized to leave the red-black club.

CAREER AT FLAMENGO

Pablo Arrived to Flamengo in March 2022, when he was hired for 2.8 million euros (R$ 14 million at the time) from Lokomotiv Moscow, in Russia. During this period, the defender played in 47 matches with the red and black shirt, in which he provided one assist and did not score a goal. On the other hand, the athlete won two titles: the Copa do Brasil and the Libertadores da América.

FLAMENGO SITUATION

O Flamengo made the third departure official in 2024. This is because, before the defender Pablothe red-black club released goalkeeper Santos to Fortaleza and midfielder Everton Ribeiro, who ended up signing with Bahia.
