Bahia remains in the market looking for opportunities to reinforce the squad with a view to having more success in 2024. One of the names that remains on the club’s radar is striker Tetê.

A week after the publication of the attacker’s interest in the Brazilian press, this time the information comes from Turkey.

According to journalist https://twitter.com/Salimmanav/status/1753534425529245921from the portal ajansspor.com, “Bahia is seriously interested in Tetê”, who would also have shown interest in defending the Squadron.

A 23-year-old athlete, Tetê is left-handed and plays on the wings. He would arrive to compete for a place with Ademir, Biel and Rafael Ratão.

The career

Tetê is a Grêmio youth player and was sold for 15 million euros to Shakhtar Donetsk in 2018, where he played for three and a half seasons.

In Ukrainian football, he played 118 games and scored 33 goals, in addition to 13 assists.

The athlete is an old acquaintance of Grupo City scouting, since his youth days at Grêmio, but also for having played in French football and in England.

Between 2021 and 2023, he played for Lyon in 30 games, with eight goals and eight assists.

In the 2022/2023 season, he played for Leicester, in the Premier League, with one goal in 14 games.

Signed by Galatasaray in the August window, Tetê scored two goals and provided three assists in his first 28 games, alternating between performances as a starter and as a substitute.

In his last three games, he entered the final stretch. In fact, he was on the field this Thursday (2), when he was placed on the field in the 43rd minute of the second half.
