Osasco reaches six consecutive victories in the Women’s Superliga

On Friday night (2), there was a duel from São Paulo for the 14th round of the Women’s Volleyball Super League. Driven again by the strength of their fans at José Liberatti, Osasco São Cristóvão Saúde defeated Barueri 3-0, with scores of 25/16, 25/22 and 25/17. This is the sixth consecutive victory for Osasco, which is in second place in the Superliga general classification. In the other game of the night, Bluvôlei beat São Caetano and left the relegation zone.

Since the turn of the year, Osasco has made great performances and grown in the Women’s Superliga. And this Friday’s match was no different. With an aggressive serve, the team led by Luizomar de Moura punished Barueri’s passing line. With the attack also showing high effectiveness, Osasco dominated most of the match, especially in the first and third sets, to secure another victory.

Opposite Lorenne was voted the best player of the match and received the Viva Vôlei Trophy. “We have been working hard for this, studying a lot. The team is growing. The group came together for a goal and we are very happy”, said the opposite Osaskanian after the match.

Bluvôlei leaves the relegation zone

In the other game this Friday, Bluvôlei beat São Caetano 3-0, with scores of 25/16, 25/21 and 25/17. The result is important for the Santa Catarina team that left the relegation zone. In the direct dispute with Brasília, Bluvôlei reached 10 points and rose to 10th place, surpassing the team from the Federal District which has eight. São Caetano remains in last place in the Superliga, with no victories this season.

In the next round, on February 6th, Bluvôlei and Brasília will face each other directly, which will be essential to define the future of the teams in the national volleyball elite. The following day, São Caetano hosts Fluminense in search of their first points in the Women’s Superliga.
