Former Flamengo and Athletico-PR midfielder Arturo Vidal was officially presented as Colo-Colo’s new player this Thursday (2/2).
The 36-year-old Chilean arrived at the Monumental stadium, in Santiago, Chile, by helicopter and took a horse ride dressed as a king, in reference to his nickname: King Arturo.
“It would be a lie if I said I had ever dreamed of something like this. It was wonderful to have a full stadium at the reception. I’m thrilled. I don’t remember what I thought in the helicopter, coming here. Colo-Colo fans make me feel loved,” he said. Arturo Vidal.

Despite the presentation, Vidal has already played his first game on his return to Colo-Colo. Away from home, Cacique beat Everton, 1-0.
On February 11, the midfielder will participate in his first decision for the club in the match against Huachipato, in the Chilean Super Cup.
