O McLaren MP4/4 number 12 is part of Brazilian and global motorsport. It was with him that, in 1988, Ayrton Senna won your first title at Formula 1. Now the car will be available in a Lego kit from March 1st, in the year in which the 30 years since the pilot’s death.

The kit, from the series Iconswill have 693 pieces and will be sold in the United States for US$80, the equivalent of around R$400. In addition to the car, the kit consists of a doll of the driver with his iconic yellow helmet holding a trophy on a podium. A Brazilian card is also part of the package.

The center of attention, however, is the car. The McLaren has functional steering, rod suspension, adjustable rear wing, slick tires, mirrors, gearshift and a detailed V6 turbo engine fed.

The painting is the traditional red and white of the sponsor at the time. The MP4/4 stand has the car’s statistics during the 1988 season. The profile is precisely low and sleek, the tires and wheels are a dominant indication of the vehicle’s nature.

In addition to Senna’s car, Lego is expected to launch a Mercedes-AMG F1 W14 E Performance what Lewis Hamilton will drive in 2023. The Englishman’s car, however, will be from the Technic, more detailed than the Icons cars. They are 1,642 piecesin that case.
