On the afternoon of this Friday (2), coach Fábio Carille led Santos’ penultimate tactical training session before the duel against Guarani, a game that will take place on Sunday, for the Campeonato Paulista. The first minutes of the training were open to the press, where the athletes were warmed up.
For this home match, Carille must maintain the base that beat Água Santa 1-0 in the last round, however, with some changes. One of them is the return of Aderlan to right-back, an athlete who was rested in the last game, giving way to Hayner.
In the middle, Carille has doubts and tested two formations. One maintaining the 4-4-2 with Cazares and Otero as two more open midfielders. And another returning to 4-3-3 with Pedrinho back in the team, making the Venezuelan a central midfielder and the Ecuadorian returning to the bench.
The likely Santos to face Guarani should have the following formation: João Paulo; Aderlan, Gil, Joaquim and Felipe Jonatan; João Schmidt, Diego Pituca, Cazares (Pedrinho) and Otero; Guilherme and Julio Furch.
Two new players in training this Friday were Alfredo Morelos, now registered with Paulistão and who should remain on the bench, potentially making his debut this season; and goalkeeper Gabriel Brazão, who also trained, but due to the “transfer ban” that the club suffered this week, he was not registered with the BID (CBF Daily Newsletter) and will be left out.
Peixe will hold their last training session this Saturday, at CT Rei Pelé, before the game against Bugre. Santos and Guarani face each other on Sunday (4), at 6pm, in Vila Belmiro, a match in the fifth round of the Campeonato Paulista.
