Keeping an eye on the fight against Charles do Bronx at the UFC 300April 13th, Arman Tsarukyan has been looking for the best training to shine in the historic edition of Ultimate and win the lightweight title shot. This Friday (2), Fedor Emelianenkoone of the greatest heavyweights in history, posted a photo with the Armenian.

Tsarukyan also published the image on his Instagram profile and wrote: “The Last Emperor”, which is Fedor’s nickname within the sport. The training focused on grappling, where the Russian is based on the game of Sambô.

Against Do Bronx at UFC 300, Tsarukyan will have the most important fight of his career. The commitment will give the winner the opportunity to fight champion Islam Makhachev – with no set date yet.

Tsarukyan, at 27 years old, has won three consecutive victories – the last being over Beneil Dariush in just 1m4s of fight – and occupies fourth place in the under-70kg ranking. Charles, who is a former lightweight champion, also comes from a knockout over “Bene” in 2023, in the first round. The Brazilian is ranked first in the lightweight division and was supposed to fight Makhachev last October, but suffered a cut on his eyebrow and had to leave the card.
