Israel Adesanya continues ‘on vacation’ from fighting after the surprising defeat to Sean Strickland, in September, in Australia, but his possible return to action seems close. Recently, the former middleweight champion (84 kg) of UFCwho had indicated that he could compete again in 2024, gave a hint of the date for returning to the Octagon, through the ‘Stories’ tool on ‘Instagram’.

In the publication made available by the ‘Combat Talk’ profile, Adesanya suggested attending UFC 300, a long-awaited event scheduled to take place in April, in Las Vegas (USA). The Nigerian shared the image of King Leonidas in the film ‘300’, with the number highlighted, and wrote ‘The gods must be crazy’. It’s worth noting that the show is still in development and its main fight is still a mystery.

Israel Adesanya, 34 years old, is one of the biggest and best MMA fighters today. The former middleweight champion debuted in the UFC in 2018 and defended the division title on five occasions. In sport, the Nigerian built a record consisting of 24 victories, 16 by knockout, and three defeats. His main triumphs were over Alex ‘Poatan’, Anderson Silva, Brad Tavares, Derek Brunson, Jared Cannonier, Kelvin Gastelum, Marvin Vettori (twice), Paulo ‘Borrachinha’, Rob Wilkinson, Robert Whittaker (twice) and Yoel Romero.
