Juventude goalkeeper Lucas Wingert left the Arena pitch in an ambulance on Wednesday night. The player had a collision with center forward André Henrique and needed medical attention due to the blow to the face. He was under observation in the stadium’s dressing room, went to the hospital for tests, but is doing well. He returned to the Arena after receiving four stitches to his face.

The vehicle entered the lawn of the Grêmio stadium to assist Wingert, who was left lying inside the Juventude area. The club’s doctors entered the field and called an ambulance to immobilize the goalkeeper’s neck with a neck brace.

Wingert had a cut on his mouth, but was conscious when he was removed by paramedics. He was then placed on a stretcher and into the ambulance.

The move occurred 13 minutes into the second half after a quick corner kick. Cristaldo crossed into the area and André Henrique shared it with goalkeeper Lucas Wingert and hit him in the face with his arm.

At the same time, the Juventude player also hit his rival in the leg. The center forward, who had come on at half-time, also left the field with pain in the shin region of his right leg.
