A member of the G4 of Series B, Vila Nova is close to returning to Series A of the Brazilian Championship. Next Saturday (25), at 5pm (Brasília time), the Goiás team visits ABC, at the Frasqueirão Stadium, in Natal, to confirm access to the national football elite. And the team must have important support from the fans in the decisive duel.

Country singer Thiago Brava announced on social media that he plans to charter a flight to watch the duel in Natal. He invited another 60 fans for a “round trip” trip on game day.

“First, people. We can’t find a plane to do this. Then Brava got an executive Boeing, which is in Florianópolis. This plane comes here, takes us to Natal and back. We’re going to leave here at 1pm, watch the game. The game is over, we’re going back. At Decolar, it’s R$6,000 for a ticket and there’s no time for the game. A small detail, our plane cost almost R$1 million”, he said.

“It has 60 seats. If we get 60 excited people, it costs R$ 15 thousand per head. But we go there like sheikh, first class. I’m chasing here. It’s back and forth. Tell your wife that it’s not We’re not going to party. We’re just going to live this moment and go back to the party”, he added.

Vila Nova needs a simple victory against ABC, bottom and relegated to Series C, to gain access. The team can even guarantee access with a draw or defeat, but the teams that are in the fight for the G4 (Atlético-GO, Novorizontino, Mirassol and Sport).

Thiago Brava also revealed in one of the videos published on social media that he gave R$500,000 to the players after the 3-1 victory over Ceará, which placed the team in the G4 of Series B. He also guaranteed that he will donate more US$ 1 million in case of access next Saturday.

To Itatiaia, the president of Vila Nova, Hugo Bravo, denied that the players had received money from the singer after the victory over Ceará.
