Lima arrived at Leão da Ilha at the beginning of 2021, after being observed in the Meninos da Paraíba Project. Later that year, he won the Campeonato Pernambucano and the Aldeia Cup, both under-15. The following year he was again State champion, but for the Under-17s.
In 2023, he won the Coffee Tournament, a tournament promoted by Boston City, in Minas Gerais. And he was fundamental in the Brazilian Under-17 Cup campaign, where Rubro-negro was a semi-finalist. He recently renewed his contract until September 2026.
U17 World Cup
In the round of 16 of the under-17 World Cup, in Indonesia, Brazil was superior to Ecuador, won 3-1 and advanced to the quarterfinals. Pedro Lima, from Sport, contributed an assist. The 17-year-old, who has been a starter, has been having a great competition.
