In addition to Léo Realpe, Matheus Gonçalves and Andres Hurtado could be absent for Red Bull Bragantino against Flamengo

Flamengo and Red Bull Bragantino face off next Thursday (23), for the postponed match of the 30th round of the Brazilian Championship. The Bragança Paulista team already has two confirmed absences and one doubt for the confrontation with Rubro-Negro.

One of Red Bull Bragantino’s already confirmed absences is defender Léo Realpe, who will serve an automatic suspension for his third yellow card against Flamengo. Andres Hurtado is doubtful due to being with the Ecuadorian team and, therefore, he doesn’t know if he will have enough time to recover and take the field against Rubro-Negro, as he has a game against Chile on Tuesday (21 ).

SITUATION OF MATHEUS GONÇALVES

Matheus Gonçalves is another confirmed absence, as he could only enter the field against Flamengo if Red Bull Bragantino paid a fine to Rubro-Negro. This is because the player belongs to Fla and is on loan to the São Paulo team. However, the board of the club from the interior of São Paulo chose not to count on the young athlete. This way, Cria do Ninho would only face Mengo if the opponent changed his mind.

FLAMENGO AND BRAGANTINO IN BRASILEIRÃO

For the confrontation at Maracanã, Flamengo and Red Bull Bragantino arrive in similar situations. Rubro-Negro occupies sixth place in the league table, while the team from São Paulo is fourth. However, the difference in points between the teams is just two, as Mengo has 57 and the opponent has 59. Therefore, the confrontation is seen as ‘direct’ in the fight for a place in the G4.

THE GAME

At Maracanã, the teams will meet at 9:30 pm (Brasília time). As tradition dictates, Coluna do Fla broadcasts the clash live on YouTube. Furthermore, Premiere, on pay-per-view, also shows the clash.
