Bromley, from England’s fifth division, innovated in the search for a new tactical analyst. The club announced on social media the start of the selection process for hiring, which will be based on the candidates’ performance in Football Manager 2024, the famous football management game.

English club will hire tactical analyst using Football Manager as criteria

The initiative was a partnership with Xbox, a video game company that also has FM 24 on its platform. To participate in the process, the candidate needs to achieve a goal in the game – win a national league – and send a one-minute video introducing themselves.

Salary of R$12 thousand per month

The announcement was made by Bromley’s own coach, Andy Woodman, on social media. According to the description, the chosen one will have full access to Bromley’s coaching staff throughout the 2023/2024 season. He will be responsible for evaluating the performance of the team and players and delivering performance reports.

The salary offered is 13 pounds per hour (about R$78). As the job is full-time, five days a week, the chosen one will receive approximately 2 thousand pounds per month (around R$12 thousand).

Currently, Bromley is in fourth place in the English fifth division, with 36 points. The club is fighting to qualify for the playoffs to promote to the fourth division.
