Tiago Nunes will be introduced to the squad this Wednesday before being announced by Botafogo

The fans of Botafogo I’m looking forward to the coach’s official announcement Tiago Nunes. But the wait has a good reason. According to “Globo”, the coach will be introduced to the players during training this Wednesday, at Espaço Lonier, before being made official to the public.

After training, Tiago Nunes will do a photo and video session and only then be announced through the club’s official channels.

Tiago Nunes arrived in Rio de Janeiro on Monday and, on Tuesday, had a series of meetings with the football department. He also met with John Textor at the hotel where the North American is staying, in Barra da Tijuca.

– I accepted the invitation for two basic reasons. The first is that I really believe in this project, there are serious people involved, a management process with which I identify. And the second is that the team is very good, very competitive and capable, I have full confidence that we can achieve the results that everyone wants, which is to be Brazilian champion – said Tiago Nunes on Monday.

This Wednesday, Textor will not be able to attend Tiago Nunes’ presentation to the players at the CT, as he is preventively suspended by the STJD. The majority shareholder of SAF do Botafogo is expected to leave Brazil this Wednesday, according to “Canal do TF”.
