Turin (Italy) – The training session scheduled by Serbian Novak Djokovic for this Wednesday has been cancelled. Defeated on Tuesday night by Italian Jannik Sinner, the world number 1 spent more than six hours on court in his first two ATP Finals matches.
Djokovic needed 3h04 to overcome Denmark’s Holger Rune in his debut, in a three-set battle. Two days later, he had another three-set game ahead of him, surpassed by Sinner after 3:09 of the match.

At 36 years old, the Serbian is already the oldest tennis player to win the Finals, lifting last year’s cup at 35 years old. Furthermore, he is trying to isolate himself as the biggest champion of the tournament, as for now he is tied with the Swiss Roger Federer, both with six wins.
In the last round of the Green Group, next Thursday, ‘Nole’ will face the Polish Hubert Hurkacz, who replaces the injured Stefanos Tsitsipas. They will play the first singles game of the day, at 10:30 am (Brasília time). The Serb has won all six of his previous duels against Hurkacz.
