Gabigol declares himself to Flamengo and receives a strong message from the club

Protagonist in both CONMEBOL Libertadores recently won by Flamengoin 2019 and 2022, by scoring the title goals, Gabigol used social media to congratulate the Red-Black for 128 years.

In the publication in X (old Twitter), the number 10 posted an art in which he appears sitting on a throne with the two cups from the continental tournament. Next to him, Zico appears, with the 1981 trophy.

Flamengo used its official profile to respond to Gabigol and thank him for the history built together.

“You are the protagonist of some of the most beautiful moments of this trajectory. Thank you for building and continuing to build this story! MENGO!”, wrote Rubro-Negro.

In 2023, the attacker varied between starter and reserve, appearing on the bench since the arrival of coach Tite. In a ‘drought’ there is 12 matches, Gabigol was recently involved in a controversy after posting a photo smiling the day after the Fla-Fluwhich ended in a 1-1 draw and had the star sent off.
