Neto ‘freaks out’ in comparison between Corinthians and Flamengo

Neto revealed that Corinthians wants to sign Gabigol

Band presenter, Neto often draws attention for his controversial opinions. However, this Tuesday (14), the former player went too far. When revealing that Corinthians is interested in signing Gabigol, the communicator compared the São Paulo team with Flamengo, saying that the Itaquera club is “much bigger”. Furthermore, the former midfielder criticized the attitude of Mengo fans towards the attacker.

— You (Flamengo fans) are annoying the guy. (Gabigol) He’s in a bad phase, but he’s a monster playing ball. Why don’t they bother someone else? (Gabigol) Plays for any Brazilian and South American football team. If he did half of what he did at Corinthians, which is much bigger than Flamengo, he would never be booed. The Corinthians fans were going to bust — said Neto.

On the same program, Neto revealed that Corinthians will look for Gabigol if Yuri Alberto is traded. According to the presenter, the signing would be a request from coach Mano Menezes. On the other hand, the Flamengo striker has a contract until December 2024 and has no interest in leaving the club where he is an idol.

When mentioning that Corinthians is bigger, Neto did not remember that Flamengo has more Libertadores (3 to 1), more Brazilian Championships (8 to 7) and more Brazilian Cups (4 to 3). In fact, in the recent past, Rubro-Negro caused nightmares for the presenter and Corinthians fans.
