Buenos Aires (Argentina) – Four Brazilian women were on the court this Tuesday at the ITF W15 in Buenos Aires, on clay courts in Argentina. The round had positive results for Thaísa Pedretti and Letícia Vidal, who debuted with victory.

Pedretti got past Peruvian Michela Castro by double 6/1. The 24-year-old player is competing in her first tournament since December and is trying to return to the WTA rankings. Her career best is 379th place. Her next rival will be Argentine Agustina Chlpac, seed 8 in the tournament.

Letícia Vidal, who came from quali, scored a double 6/0 against local guest Katja Markus. In the round of 16, she will play against Ecuadorian Camila Romero, sixth seed.

Two Brazilians fell in the opening round, Georgia Gulin from Paraná withdrew from the match against Argentine Justina Gonzalez after losing the first set 6/3. The 17-year-old São Paulo teenager Lívia Daud lost 6/1 and 6/0 to the 2nd seed in the tournament, the Argentine Luisina Giovannini.

Gabriela Cé is surpassed in a 3-hour match in Greece
The 30-year-old Gabriela Cé from Rio Grande do Sul, 403rd in the ranking, was eliminated in her debut at the ITF W25 in Heraklion, Greece. She lost to 19-year-old host Dimitra Pavlou 7/6 (7-3), 6/7 (4-7) and 6/3 in a match lasting 3h13.
