The trial of former player Daniel Alves is getting closer and closer. This Tuesday (14), the Spanish Court notified the athlete and the victim that the case will be sent to court.
The investigations into the case in which Daniel Alves is accused of raping a 23-year-old girl in a nightclub in Spain have been closed. The parties will have five days to present the accusations and defense.

According to information from the newspaper “La Vanguardia”, the Spanish Public Ministry will ask for a sentence of up to eight years in prison for the player. In his defense, Daniel Alves states that the sexual relationship with the young woman was consensual.
