The president of Fortaleza, Marcelo Paz, signaled this Wednesday (8) that he wants to extend the contract with coach Juan Pablo Vojvoda beyond 2024. In November 2022, the Argentine signed a renewal until the end of next year. But Paz wants an even greater bond.
Vojvoda renews contract with Fortaleza until the end of 2024
– He has a contract until the end of 2024. So I only work with that possibility. In fact, in my head, I already wanted to renew for longer. I think we can now reach the end of the year, I have already signaled to him in a very subtle way that we can extend his contract for longer, not just until the end of 2024 – said the director, in an interview with TNT Sports Brazil.
In 2023, Vojvoda managed to win with Fortaleza the fifth state championship dreamed of by Tricolor, in addition to runner-up in the South American Championship. For Paz, what unites the club and the coach is the ambition to always have great achievements.
– We really like his work, and I think he also likes working at Fortaleza, because everything we agree on, we comply with in all aspects, squad formation, squad changes, logistics, in difficult times we are together. The club’s internal environment makes him feel very comfortable. And you know that we have ambition. He knows that we want to continue growing. He has this ambition, and so do we.
