The blessing no longer comes to Fluminense just through João de Deus. Pope Francis received a tricolor team shirt and pennant this Thursday morning at the Vatican. The gift was given by Father Omar Raposo, rector of the Sanctuary of Christ the Redeemer.

At the Vatican, Father Omar also took the opportunity to visit the tomb of John Paul II. This was a promise made by the priest for the tricolor title.
