Santos is set to face Goiás, this Thursday, at 7pm, in Goiânia, in the 33rd round of the Brasileirão. On Wednesday afternoon, the squad worked at CT do Dragão, from Atlético-GO, and finalized the final details for the match at the Serrinha stadium.
Peixe’s training was closed to the press and fans. Coach Marcelo Fernandes led light training, without the traditional tactics of days before matches.
The starters and reserves warmed up with the group on the pitch, participated in passing, movement and marking-pressing activities when the ball was released in a reduced space and then went to the ice bath.
Santos’ probable lineup has João Paulo; Lucas Braga, Messias, Joaquim and Kevyson; Tomás Rincón, Jean Lucas, Nonato (Rodrigo Fernández) and Lucas Lima; Max Silvera (Mendoza) and Marcos Leonardo.
Soteldo is absent from Santos in the fight against relegation
The black and white delegation has been in Goiânia since last Tuesday night, concentrated in a hotel close to the stadium. The board’s idea is to protect the players so that they do not have distractions at such an important moment of the season.
