Flamengo’s Master Sponsor makes changes to the uniform in a duel with Palmeiras at Maracanã

November is awareness month to combat violence against women. In order to ’embrace’ the cause, Flamengo will undergo a change in its uniform for the game against Palmeiras, this Wednesday (08), for the 33rd round of the Brazilian Championship. Banco BRB, the club’s master sponsor, will make changes to the Sacred Mantle.

Through social media, Flamengo released images of what the uniform will look like this Wednesday (08). In the central space of the shirt, where it usually says ‘Banco BRB’, there will be the following phrase: “We for them”. It is worth noting that the campaign was promoted by the club together with the master sponsor.

In addition to the shirt, coach Tite will also promote changes in the Flamengo team. This is because, after being left out of the game against Fortaleza due to expulsion, Gerson returns to the red-black midfield. In attack, the commander must continue with the same offensive trio that played last Sunday (05): Everton Cebolinha, Luiz Araújo and Pedro.

The upcoming duel is decisive for Flamengo’s intentions this season. This is because, with a victory against Palmeiras, Rubro-Negro can once again enter the G4 of the Brasileirão, a place in which the teams guarantee a direct place in the Libertadores da América.

In addition to the G4, Flamengo could enter the fight for the Brasileirão title once and for all. In case of victory this Wednesday (08) and Botafogo stumble against Grêmio on Thursday (09), Rubro-Negro’s distance from their Rio rival in the table will be just three points.

Flamengo x Palmeiras takes place this Wednesday (08), at 9:30 pm (Brasília time), for the 33rd round of the Brazilian Championship. Coluna do Fla, as usual, brings the most red-black broadcast on the internet, with the ‘angry’ voice of Rafa Penido, on YouTube. However, Rede Globo (open channel) and Premiere (pay-per-view) also show the match.
