Brasilia DF) – Three players from the current top 100 will be in Brasília to compete in the Republic Open, ATP Challenger 100 tournament, between the 20th and 26th of this month, at the BRB Arena, with free entry to the public. Chileans Cristian Garin (87th in the ranking), Argentine Federico Coria (88th) and Colombian Daniel Galan (93rd) are registered.
Among the Brazilians, the confirmed presence of Thiago Monteiro from Ceará, number 2 in the country and 127th in the world, and Gustavo Heide from São Paulo, ranked 248th and gold medalist in men’s doubles at the Pan-American Games in Santiago.
Tennis players from Bolivia, Colombia, the United States, Italy and Kazakhstan complete the list of entries. The event closes the calendar of professional tournaments held by the Brazilian Tennis Confederation (CBT). The competition distributes a total prize pool of US$130,000 and 100 points for the tournament champion.
