O Fluminense realized his big dream this season and won the CONMEBOL Libertadores. Now, the team lives with the expectation of competing in the Club World Cup. Before that, however, the team will have to finalize its participation in the Brasileirão.
A saga of seven games begins this Wednesday, at 7pm (Brasília time) against International in Beira-Rio. It will be the beginning of just over a month to prepare for their debut in the tournament’s semifinals. In addition to Colorado, Flu will face the following teams: Flamengo (F), São Paulo (C), Coritiba (C), Santos (F), Palmeiras (F) and Grêmio (C).
Among these games, there are four in Rio de Janeiro, one as a visitor in a classic against Flamengo, close to his fans. On the 22nd, against the São Paulothe Libertadores cup will even be present at the stadium for an Olympic round.
It is not yet known, however, which teams will take to the field in the games. A schedule has not been established, but there is the possibility that the main athletes will receive a period of rest to recover with a view to the World Cup.
The tournament in 2023 will be held in Saudi Arabia between December 12th and 22nd. Fluminense will debut on the 18th, in the semi-final, against Al Ahly, Al Ittihad or Auckland City.
