Treze continues to build up its squad with an eye on the competitions it will compete in the 2024 season. This Wednesday, Alvinegro do Bairro do São José confirmed two reinforcements for the midfield sector. These are midfielders Edmundo, a remnant of the group that won this year’s Paraibano Championship, and Gabriel Feitosa, from the base, who will join the coach’s main squad next year. Edmundo’s return was already expected by the fans. This is because the athlete, who stood out in the final stages of the last edition of Paraibano, fell in favor with the fans, who called for his return. Although the midfielder’s official announcement was made by the club only today, the player himself had already confirmed a few days ago his return to the Presidente Vargas Stadium for the 2024 season.
Another name to make up the Thirteen squad next season is young Gabriel Feitosa, 19. Having spent time at CSP and Perilima, the midfielder stood out for Treze himself in this season’s Paraibano Under-20 Championship, a competition from in which Alvinegro was a semi-finalist. Seen by many as one of the team’s greatest values for the coming years, the athlete will fight for minutes on the field that will enable him to fight for the title in the future.
Announcements of new players at the Presidente Vargas Stadium should continue in the coming days. If the pace of the last few days continues, at least until next weekend, a remaining athlete and a base player should be announced daily by the Galista board.
