Vasco beats Flamengo in the Carioca U17 semi-final; see the goals | soccer

Vasco beat Flamengo 5-1, this Sunday, at the Nivaldo Pereira Stadium, in the first game of the semi-final of the Carioca Under-17 Championship. Fla took the lead, but the Vasco team managed to turn things around and built a good advantage for the second leg.

Flamengo opened the scoring in the 29th minute of the first half, through Douglas Telles. Still in the initial stage, Bruno Lopes scored twice, at 38 and 43, to put Vasco ahead.

After half-time, the home team didn’t take long to extend their lead. Igor, at 12, and Lukas Zuccarello, at 14, also scored for Vasco. There was still time for one more, in the last few minutes. At 44, Alexandre closed the scoring.

– Very happy with my numbers, the result of my performance in training. It’s always good to win a classic against Flamengo, even more so with the number of goals we scored. It’s about seeing mistakes and coming back stronger for the next game – said Lukas Zuccarello, Vasco’s top scorer and leader in assists.

The return game will be at Gávea, home of Flamengo, on November 11th, at 11am.

Also at the Nivaldo Pereira Stadium, earlier this Sunday, Vasco and Flamengo faced each other in the first game of the Carioca U15 semifinal. Levi, against, opened the scoring for Vasco in the first half. Flamengo tied in the final stage, with a goal from Enzo. The return game will be on November 11th, at 9 am, with red and black teams.
