Ayrton Lucas was one of the main players of the Flamengo in the first semester, during the period in which the team was led by the Portuguese Vítor Pereira.

His performance earned him a call-up to the Brazilian team, at the time led by Ramon Menezes, with the red-and-black number 6 holding the position and dreaming of new calls.

Despite this, the athlete returned and his performance was never the same, and he sent a warning signal to the board for the next season, so that the sector could be reinforced in 2024.

Flamengo defines four positions as priorities for the 2024 season: left back, defender, midfielder and a replacement for Arrascaeta.

Flamengo’s board decided that Filipe Luis and Rodrigo Caio’s contracts will not be renewed. In other words, it will only be with Ayrton next season, reinforcing the need to reinforce the position.
