SÃO PAULO, SP (UOL/FOLHAPRESS) – Brazil won this Friday (3) the first gold medal in equestrian at the Pan-American Games in Santiago. The country says goodbye to the sport with six medals, three silver, two bronze and one gold.
Stephan Barcha won the gold medal in jumping this Friday, at the Pan-American Games in Santiago.
The Brazilian performed an ‘almost’ perfect race, only missing the last jump, and secured the first equestrian medal at the 2023 Pan.
Stephan completed the race in which he won gold in just 60.51 seconds.
Americans Kent Farrington and Mclain Ward completed the podium and took silver and bronze.
In addition to the gold medal, Brazil won, in all categories, six medals in the sport.
