After a historic turn of events, Abel Ferreira’s neighbors leave messages declaring: “I love you”

Palmeiras coach, Abel Ferreira, had a surprise this Thursday (2) in the building where he lives, in São Paulo. After the historic 4-3 victory over Botafogo, achieved last Wednesday (1st), his neighbors pasted posters on a mirror with messages declaring themselves to be the Portuguese, alviverde idol.

The alviverde commander took advantage and took a photo of the tribute, publishing it in a story on his Instagram. The phrases were “Abel 4 x 3 I love you”, “Abel, I love you”, “Abel, you are amazing. We love you” and “Abel you are the best”. He wrote on the image saying he has “the best neighbors in the world” (see below).

In addition to the historic result, this week is very special for him and his committee, as they completed three years at Palmeiras, last Monday (30). At the Football Academy, the board paid tribute, with the presence of their families.

Abel himself published a text talking about these three years in Brazil, with a montage in which he and his assistants appeared as astronauts. During this period on Brazilian soil, the Portuguese won eight titles – two Libertadores, two Campeonatos Paulista, one Brasileirão, one Copa do Brasil, one Recopa Sudamericana and one Supercup do Brasil.
