As a result of the victory, Ituano took the lead. However, the situation must be temporary. With five wins and 11 points, Itu’s team needs to hope for a setback for Campinas against Santo André this Friday (3) to stay at the top. The Campinas team remains undefeated in the competition with five wins in five games. Furthermore, the two teams duel in the last round of the game for first place.

In this Thursday’s match, Ituano had an excellent start to the game. With a high level of shooting from the field, the home team opened the match with a 16-point lead after the first quarter. Ourinhos decreased before the break, but Itu’s team came back from the changing rooms with everything and increased the difference to 23. Thus, they only managed the victory in the last quarter.
