The Brazilian men’s football team is in the final of the Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile. Brazil will face Chile in the gold medal match, Saturday, at 8 p.m., who also defeated the United States 1-0, with a goal scored in the 12th minute of the final stage by César Pérez.
In men’s handball, the Brazilian team had to work hard to beat Chile 30 to 28 (15 to 12 in the first half). Haniel Lângaro was the top scorer, with seven goals. Jean Pierre Dupoux scored six. Chilean Erwin Feuchtmann, with ten goals, was the highlight of the match. On Friday, in the semi-final, Brazil will face the United States. The other place in the gold medal decision will bring together Argentina and Chile.
