O volleyball women at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games will be held between July 27th and August 11th, 2024. Seven of the 12 teams that will be in action in search of the gold medal have already been defined after the Pre-Olympic Games in September.
Three Pre-Olympic tournaments were held, in different venues, with eight countries in each of them. The best two in each competition secured their place in Paris 2024, joining the Francewhich already had its place guaranteed as it was the host country.
Among the nations that achieved classification in women’s volleyball is Brazil. The team managed to beat Japan, one of the favorites, in the last game of the Pre-Olympic by 3×2, finishing in second place, with seven wins and one defeat, and guaranteeing their place.
As National Olympic Committees have exclusive authority over the representation of their respective countries at the Olympic Games, athletes’ participation in the Paris Games depends on their NOCs selecting them to represent their delegation at Paris 2024.
