Boca Juniors breathes the Libertadores final. Dozens of fans went to the club’s Training Center to give the club their last support before the trip to Rio de Janeiro (watch below). The Argentine team’s delegation went to Brazil on a chartered flight, which took off at around 3:20 pm (Brasília time).

Some fans were also at Ezeiza airport to support their idols before the trip. Many are already in Rio de Janeiro and are filling up the city’s hotels. Profiles on social networks that follow the xeneize team share several images of flights full of Argentines heading to Brazil for the decision against Fluminense.
Boca Juniors have their last training session before the trip this Wednesday morning. Coach Jorge Almirón counted on the return of Benedetto, recovered from a muscle injury. The only casualties for the final will be young Zeballos, who recovering from serious knee injuryand captain Rojo, suspended after his expulsion in the semi-final against Palmeiras.

Zeballos was included in the delegation going to Rio de Janeiro, but must remain in Argentina to continue treatment. In the last training session, Almirón tested the following starting lineup:
Sergio Romero; Luís Advíncula, Nicolás Figal, Nicolás Valentini and Frank Fabra; Cristian Medina, Ezequiel Fernández, Pol Fernández and Valentín Barco; Miguel Merentiel and Edinson Cavani.
Boca Juniors is scheduled to arrive at 6:20 pm this Wednesday in Rio de Janeiro. The club will stay in a hotel in Barra da Tijuca, West Zone of Rio de Janeiro. This Thursday and Friday, the team trains at Vasco’s CT, in Jacarepaguá, with only 15 minutes open to the press.
Fluminense x Boca Juniors takes place this Saturday, at 5pm (Brasília time), at Maracanã. The 2023 Libertadores final has TV Globo broadcast and real-time monitoring on ge.
