Paris, France) – Strongly supported by the French crowd throughout the week in the Roland Garros quali, Lucas Pouille got his spot in the main draw. After beating the Czech Tomas Machac and the Taiwanese Chun Hsin Tseng in the early stages, Pouille overcame the Austrian Jurij Rodionov, 134th in the ranking, by 1/6, 7/5 and 6/0 this Thursday.
Former world number 10 and winner of five ATP tournaments, Pouille is 29 years old and currently occupies the 670th place in the ranking.
