“Physically privileged”: Danilo praises Pedrinho and sees a good future at Corinthians | Corinthians

One of the great hopes of Corinthians fans this season is in relation to the development of 17-year-old Pedrinho.

He is physically privileged, a fast, intelligent, finishing player, he has everything to be a big name in football – said Danilo, Libertadores and world champion at Timão.

– He’s been looking for his space. In the sub-20 he was a bench (in 2022), but in a few games he has already won the position, this shows that he has great quality. In the professional, more opportunities tend to appear, but he is prepared, he is a great player.

The trend is that under-20 players will continue to be loaned to reinforce Timão in the Brasileirão of the category. On Wednesday, the team visits Ceará. Accustomed to the transition, the boy said he didn’t see a big difference in the difficulty level of the matches.

– I play my game in the base as I do in the professional. The only difference is that in the sub-20 the game is faster, but in one-on-one what I do here, in the professional I also do it – he highlighted.
