Using resistant materials and a glass front, the Apple Vision Pro faced a durability test that appears to be the first published on YouTube.
Device owners US$3,500 (~R$17,500) They must be taking maximum care so that it doesn’t fall or suffer impacts, but this YouTuber decided to see how much damage the Apple Vision Pro can withstand and the result is surprising.
Durability tests are very popular on YouTube and several channels invest in new products for testing. Although many carry out serious and meticulous work, others just want to destroy the product quickly due to the public’s reactions.
AppleTrack’s Sam Kohl takes a methodical approach to testing the durability of the Apple Vision Pro. The first test involved a waist-high drop onto carpet, showing that the Light Seal doesn’t hold as well as it should, but the device remains intact .
Then, the YouTuber walked around the house bumping into walls and doors. After twenty knocks, he noticed small scratches on the front glass. After a stronger blow to the wall, the EyeSight panel remained intact, impressing Kohl.
Repeated drop tests on the wooden floor caused the outer glass on the panel to break, but the inner part remained intact and even removing the damaged section, the Apple Vision Pro continued to function.
In the end, Kohl praised the Apple Vision Pro’s durability and said he had never seen curved glass as durable as the device’s.
