Travel agency had recovery request accepted in August last year, after canceling packages and tickets
The TJ-MG (Court of Justice of Minas Gerais) ordered the suspension of the judicial recovery of the company 123Milhas. The decision was taken last week by judge Claudia Helena Batista, from the 1st Business Court of Belo Horizonte. Here is the full decision (PDF – 218 kB).
The company’s judicial recovery will be suspended until new judicial administrators are appointed. 123Milhas also needs to detail the real conditions of Lance Hotéis and MaxMilhas, which were included in the judicial recovery in October 2023.
This is the 2nd time that 123Milhas’ judicial recovery has been suspended. In September last year, the Minas Gerais court had already ordered the interruption of the process, which was resumed in December.
In August 2023, 123Milhas suspended the issuance of tickets and packages on the Promo line (with flexible dates), which were scheduled for departure from September to December of the same year.
The measure led Senacon (National Consumer Secretariat) to question the travel agency online about the reasons that led her to cancel packages and tickets. Procon (Consumer Protection and Defense Program) in São Paulo also opened an investigation to investigate the company.
Also in August, the Court accepted 123Milhas’ request for judicial recovery.
