Yudi Tamashiro talks about the new phase of Priscilla’s career at Globo: “I pray for you”

Former presenter of Bom Dia & Cia (1993-2023), Yudi Tamashiro used social media to talk about the new professional phase of Priscilla, who recently decided to stop using the surname Alcântara after abandoning her gospel career. On his official profile, Silvio Santos’ former contractor said he supported his former broadcast colleague. “Priscilla, know that, as before, I continue to admire you and respect your decisions”, he began in the caption of the post.

“I love you and I pray for you like I pray for my family! Even if they are trying to force a tension that does not exist, I believe that God has called us to be peacemakers”, added Yudi. The communicator also denied having called Priscilla “deviant”, as was reported in some press vehicles recently. “I didn’t give any interviews to these gossip pages, and therefore, I didn’t say anything about what’s in the article,” he lamented.

“Some journalist simply distorted my lines from an old interview and brought all this to the public without any basis”, concluded Yudi Tamashiro. In early November, Priscilla announced on social media that she changed her stage name after abandoning her gospel career. “Every detail of it [Priscilla Alcantara] brought me here. Always moved by the new, by the different, by what I haven’t seen, haven’t experienced yet,” she declared.
