The soap opera ‘Todas as Flores’ delivered the programming for the Multishow Award with a good audience rating, which ended up plummeting and putting the broadcaster practically in a technical tie with RecordTV, which broadcast the reality show A Fazenda 15.
The ‘almighty’ saw RecordTV approach the leadership up close. At 11:40 pm, for example, TV Globo scored 8 points while RecordTV’s reality show scored 7.5 audience points. On the other hand, Fazenda ended up breaking the audience record with the attraction, which is also no longer able to reach good levels as occurred in past editions.
In any case – whether in Criança Esperança or in Prémio Multishow – the broadcaster already intended to ‘warm up’ the image of presenter Tadeu Schmidt for the next edition of Big Brother Brasil. The choice, however, ended up being the wrong attraction according to channel sources. Part of the broadcaster also would not have understood why Marcos Mion was not selected for the award, since his contract with the broadcaster provided for Mion’s presence in the coverage of major musical events broadcast by the broadcaster in open or closed programming.
Also according to sources from the channel’s contracts department, the broadcaster is fearful about the future and career of Tadeu Schmidt, and that is why they will talk next year about the best way to reposition the presenter on the broadcaster, to prevent the same from happening. same as what happened with presenter Fernanda Gentil, and many other professionals who were displaced from their areas of interest and had frustrated achievements, such as Tiago Leifert, who, upon leaving the Sports segment and being relocated to the entertainment core, felt the desire to return to his old ways. functions linked to sport.
Another case is that of the presenter of É de Casa, Tiago Oliveira, who was removed from the presentation of Esporte Espetacular and directed to the entertainment center in the morning. The broadcaster’s initial idea was to leave a third program in the hands of the presenter in the second half of next year 2024. The format was already being designed and the provisional name is ‘Programa do Tadeu’, which would be a kind of Tal Show. But, after the Multishow Award, the broadcaster that knows better whether the journalist’s popularity after leaving Fantástico will be with him in other projects on the programming schedule, or is confused with Big Brother’s own popularity.
The fact is that Tadeu is an excellent professional and to this day has left a hole in Fantástico, despite the excellent work of his colleague Alex Escobar. His move from the journalism core to the entertainment core was also not planned. The choice had to be made immediately after the announcement that Tiago Leifert would no longer present the attraction.
For now, the broadcaster would have asked to put the brakes on ‘Programa do Tadeu’, and better evaluate the presenter’s performance in the next edition of Big Brother, which still divides opinions. Of course, Tadeu is already leaving the reality show straight to the production of his new sports attraction during the Olympics, but from then on it is a more sensitive point that Globo will evaluate, since this next edition of Big Brother Brasil could be Schmidt’s last. .
