The Galaxy S24 Ultra could bring a big change to its front design that divides opinions among fans of Samsung’s most advanced line. According to rumors, the cell phone will feature a wider panel and flat glass, replacing the stretched proportion of the curved screen used in all “Ultra” versions since the Galaxy S20 Ultra.
This Friday (03), the leaker Ice Universe released an image that compares the supposed front design of the Galaxy S24 Ultra with the Galaxy S23 Ultra. It is possible to see that the future generation features symmetrical edges, an even more discreet camera hole at the top and, most importantly, a flat screen. Check it out below:
The material is purely conceptual, as it is produced based on leaks regarding the design of the Galaxy S24 Ultra. Rumors indicate that this cell phone will have a new flat screen which, on the positive side, can give greater resistance against damage in cases of fallsbut it can compromise immersion by reducing the use of the frontal area.
Another possible feature of the smartphone that could divide users’ opinions is the change in aspect ratio. The Galaxy S24 Ultra may be shorter than its predecessor, but it would become wider. It is worth remembering that the Galaxy S23 Ultra has an aspect ratio of 19.3:9. The new generation could change this measurement to something between 18:9 and 19:9.
Finally, something that all fans of the brand must agree on is that the symmetrical edges and smaller hole for the front camera will be very welcome. The Galaxy S24 Ultra may feature thinner screen edges with identical thicknesses, giving an even more sophisticated look and possibly compensating for the lack of a curved screen.
The Galaxy S24 Ultra should be announced on January 17th, according to a recent leak. This should be the most powerful of the trio of top-of-the-line cell phones that Samsung should present in early 2024, and will possibly be equipped with a single processor option, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy, which could feature a GPU clocked at 1GHz.
