O Gabriel Santiago, 27, from Santa Catarina, died in a traffic accident in London, in the United Kingdom, on Tuesday afternoon (19). Born in Criciúma, in the south of the state, he had lived abroad for two years, where he worked as a motoboy, according to his uncle, Gerson Santiago. Gabriel’s mother left this Wednesday (20) for the country.
“Yesterday around 17:00 in London he had his front cut by a driver and died on the spot. He was very cautious on the bike”, he says.

Gabriel lived in the United Kingdom with his wife, also from Criciúma. “The two went to live there in search of a better life, seeking to fulfill a dream,” he says.

Gabriel’s wife is in London. According to Gerson, family members find it difficult to obtain information about the body and transfer.
“We are totally lost, we don’t even know where to start and we need all the help possible. It’s too heavy for all of us. Our hands are tied”, he says.
O g1 SC contacted the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Itamaraty) to find out if they are following the case, but there was no response until the last update of this article.
