Scott gave an interview to Classic Rock magazine. During the chat, which was published this Thursday (May 9), he answered what the essence of a good Thrash Metal show is.

“It’s the excitement that this show brings. I love the anticipation of being in the pit and waiting for a show to start”, reported Scott, who also spoke about a notable show he attended in the past, when he was already a relevant name in the scene.

“I still remember being on the dance floor at The Ritz [em Nova York] in 1987, a minute before Slayer entered the stage, and the energy in the air was palpable. What would be the first song? There is no better catharsis than being at a thrash-metal show, screaming along with the band and banging your head”, concluded the veteran guitarist, who recently passed through Brazil and performed an incredible show at the second edition of Summer Breeze Brasil.
