Labor Day is celebrated this Wednesday, May 1st. On the national holiday, some segments of commerce will adopt special opening hours, including shopping malls.

You supermarkets Belo Horizonte and some cities in the Metropolitan Region can operate normally this holiday, according to the Minas Gerais Supermarket Association (AMIS). Among the municipalities that can open are:

• Confins;
• Jaboticatubas;
• Lagoa Santa;
• New lime;
• New Union;
• Pedro Leopoldo;
• Foxes;
• Stream of snow;
• Upstream;
• Sabará;
• São José da Lapa;
• Taquaraçu de Minas and Vespasiano.

• Stores and Kiosks: 2pm to 8pm
• Food court: 10am to 10pm
• At DiamondMall and Pátio Savassi, Empório & Padaria Verdemar operates from 7am to 9pm.
• At BH Shopping, Carrefour will be open from 8am to 9pm.

Boulevard Shopping

• Stores and Kiosks: 2pm to 8pm
• Food court: 11am to 9pm
• Restaurants: 11am to 10pm
